Dear Ms Stewart,
RE: Classical Caribbean Charity Ball in Aid of The
Sickle Cell Society
On behalf of The Sickle Cell Society I would like to
thank ASL (Alexander Stewart Locations) Fundraising
Association for their kind donation of £5,000
raised at the charity ball.
The Sickle Cell Society was delighted to be one of
the first of many charities to benefit from these charity
balls. I would like to personally thank ASL Fundraising
Association for their hard work and dedication in organising
such a fantastic event and helping to raise awareness
of sickle cell disorders as well as much needed funds.
Without such support from members of the public and
organisations such as ASL Fundraising Association, the
Sickle Cell Society would not be able to raise the much
needed money for its Welfare and Education Funds. The
Welfare Fund is used to help relieve the hardship suffered
by individuals with sickle cell disorder, by providing
household items such as carpets, washing-machines, fridges,
whilst the Education Fund helps with extra tuition for
children who miss out on school.
With every effort by supporters such as you, the Society
is able to fulfil one of its aims, which is to improve
the quality of life of individuals affected by sickle
cell disorder. Once again thank-you for your donation
and I hope you will continue to support us in the future.
Yours sincerely,
Kalpna Patel
